NEW YORK / LOS ANGELES — TURNING TENNIS INTO VISUAL POETRY.
Hi everyone,
I’m the voice behind Nine-Seven and The Break Letters Club.
Everything I make starts somewhere close to tennis, although usually away from the court: the ride home after a match, the hours before playing, the things you don’t say out loud, the songs you listen to when you’re trying to feel brave again.
Nine-Seven takes its name from the 2008 Wimbledon final between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, when Nadal won the fifth set 9–7 in one of the most unforgettable matches in tennis history.
At first, I made graphic pieces and visual fragments around tennis and design. Then the project began to grow into music, letters, stories, and a wider world.
That became The Break Letters Club, a refuge for young tennis players who dream of going pro one day. It’s inspired by Dead Poets Society and built around letters, songs, and intimate stories, so players can feel less alone in everything they carry.
This is the world I’m building: part tennis, part music, part diary, part dream.
